collaboration #14 – tartu is a site-relative performance, developed by the two artists while in residency in Tartu Artist in Residence Programme. It explores the potential of lines and how lines effect the relationship between two performers, as well as the space.
collaboration #14 -tartu addresses the correlation between, and the potentials of: movement patterns – task-based movements, stillness – slowness, sound – silence, proximity – distance, panning – depth, scores – structures, and duality – unison. Using movement, sound, and limited materials, the performers focus on simultaneous, repetitive, minimal actions, and the point where these actions phase, oscillate, and/or conjoin.
