3 hour durational performance

Jasmin Schaitl takes strings and weaves, and weaves, and weaves for hours. She slowly builds a shield and capsule. Concentrated and ruminant she increasingly isolates herself from the onlookers surrounding her, thwarting the space in which she performs – the corridor. This non-space where attention is normally focused on rushing from one exhibition room to the next one, is becoming a space of tranquility and slowliness, fed by the two contrasts.
