6 hours of

Inkpen on 6 layers of transparent paper, in plexiglas, 75cmx75cm

6 hours of is a drawing realized on 6 layers of transparent paper. While the artist is physically lying on paper, she draws a continuous line, without pausing, over the course of one hour.

This defines the space, occupied by her body on the paper, as well as the radius of her drawing arm. Each hour a new paper is used, each time positioning the body closer to the center. This is repeated 6 times.

These 6 sheets are then overlayed and can be viewed from both sides.

6 hours of preserves and combines a performative action, the artists body, time frames, and the result of their interaction in one work.
